My name is Amber and I came to Guiding Lights in May of 2023 in the midst of the darkest time of my life. Here over the last 18 months, I have healed and become whole for the first time ever. I've learned that my recovery will always need work but that it's worth it and necessary! The structure and support Guiding Lights has shown me has impacted me in ways I could never repay others but to pay it forward. If you are thinking about starting your clean and sober journey, DO IT! My future looks bright and I have been able to make it through some very hard losses and hard news along the way and that is something truly remarkable for any addict to get through without using.
